  • The Hotel Ballast will be the NC TIDE Host Hotel for the NCTIDE 2026 Conference. The Ballast offers an upscale experience in a prime location on the Cape Fear Riverfront. Their downtown boardwalk location is within walking distance to popular attractions, nightlife, shopping and dining. Explore the area on a sightseeing cruise, walking tour or from a horse and carriage. Cap off a busy day with a dining treat at their Board & Barrel Coastal Kitchen before retiring to an elegant guest room.
  • Conference Rate for NCTIDE 2026: $199/night Historic View until room block is full OR until if before 3/18/2026, whichever comes first.
